COVID-19 Information

Status as of March 19, 2022

As of April 1, 2022 the club will no longer be requiring proof of COVID-19 vaccination. We strongly encourage everyone to get vaccinated.

In addition, while we encourage the use of masks in indoor spaces, and absolutely support anyone who wants to wear a mask, we are no longer requiring the use of masks in the boathouse.

If you have questions about our COVID-19 policy, feel free to contact our safety officer at <vp@gorgerowing.ca>.

The province is in the process of relaxing COVID-19 restrictions, but has made it clear that the pandemic is not over, and that community transmission of COVID-19 is occurring. We are no longer requiring proof of vaccination or masking. We ask, however, that everyone recognize that our members have different levels of vulnerability, and different levels of comfort about COVID-19 procedures.
