We come for a wide variety of reasons, including fun, fitness, and socializing. Some of us are highly experienced rowers, and some of us are brand new to the sport.

There are year-round opportunities for Adult rowers, both in specific short programs, and in our "Masters" program.
Year-round recreational & competitive rowing with many practice times.
Age: 18+
Experience: Learn to Row or greater experience required
Practice times shift seasonally, but typically include at least four weekday mornings, one Saturday morning, and one weekday evening.
Annual - $2100 + GST

Build a solid foundation for continued recreational or competitive rowing.

Experience: None required. If you sign up for multiple Blocks, we will organize later blocks so you aren't starting over with the basics.

Private lessons are available, as time permits, to address specific goals.
Private lessons can be a useful addition to our group classes so, when coach time is available, we offer them as an option. A private lesson offers dedicated coaching for one boat (single through eight). Some of the goals that people have worked on in private lessons include:

Experienced rowers from other clubs are welcome as occasional Guest rowers at GNRC, whether they are invited by an existing member or contact the club directly. See our Guest Rower Policy for information about waivers, suggested donations, rules, etc.
