This one-of-a-kind event invites participants to step into rowing shells, learn the basics of the rowing stroke, and enjoy the beauty of the Gorge Waterway—no previous rowing experience required!

What's Included
The day begins with an introduction to rowing fundamentals using the rowing machine and our stationary training shell on the dock. Once you’re comfortable with the movement, you’ll head out onto the water with guidance from our active club members.
Throughout the session, you’ll have the chance to rotate through different boats to experience a variety of rowing styles and equipment. Breaks are built in for snacks, warm beverages, and time to enjoy the welcoming atmosphere.
What to Bring
- Athletic, form-fitting clothing (to avoid catching on equipment)
- Warm layers suitable for all weather
- A sense of adventure!
