FREE Try Rowing Open House
For people new to rowing. Ages 12 through active 80s.
What: Find out about the wonderful sport of rowing, meet members of the rowing community, and spend some time on the beautiful Gorge Waterway. We will share information, introduce you to the rowing motion on a stationary rowing machine, and take you out on the water with some experienced rowers, in a safe and welcoming environment. There will also be time to ask questions, see the boathouse, and learn more about our club’s programs.
When & Where: Sunday May 29. Arrive anytime between 9am and 4 pm (we close at 5). We're at 2940 Jutland Road Victoria, BC, but you can’t see us from the street. Go down to the water, between Glo Restaurant and the Fairway Gorge Paddling Club.
How: Pre-filling the waiver here, will result in faster check-in when you arrive. Sign up for a time slot here, so we can plan better. Or just show up. More details about what to wear, bring, etc.
