Age: grades 9-12
Experience: All levels, including those new to rowing.

Juniors Pass Pricing 2026

Unlimited rowing during each season:

  • Spring - see specific season for details
  • Summer  - see specific season for details
  • Fall - We pause our club Junior program and serve as one of the practice sites for the Fall High School Rowing League sponsored by the Lower Vancouver Island School Sports Association and the Greater Victoria Youth Rowing Society.
  • Winter  - see specific season for details

Punchcard - 10 practices. $300+GST.
Not valid for Fall High School League practices. At least an LTR graduate level of experience is required to use a Punchcard.

Juniors: Spring

Offers a range of training and competition intensities to support varying athlete goals, in a fun and welcoming team environment.

Age: Grades 9-12
Experience: All levels, including those new to rowing

3 times/week. Wed & Fri 4–6 p.m., Sat 9–11 a.m.
Block 1: April 1–May 9, $360 + GST
Block 2: May 13–June 20, $360 + GST

Juniors: Learn to Row Camp

Spend a week learning to row and getting out on the water! Build technique foundation preparing you for continued recreational or competitive rowing.


Age: Grades 9 - 12
Experience: None required

Mon thru Friday, 9am - noon
Block 1: Jul 20 - 24, $250 + GST
Block 2: Aug 17-21, $250 + GST

Womens Row (Masters & Juniors)

A supportive, social, women-only row. No set workouts or training plans, participants choose what they would like to do during each session. A great opportunity to focus on your technique, get some distance in, or just enjoy the beautiful Gorge Waterway.

Boatings are done on arrival.

A great opportunity to focus on your technique, get some distance in, or just enjoy the beautiful Gorge Waterway.

Sessions may include suggested technique focus or independent rowing. Boatings are done on arrival.

Regattas: formal racing

Our coaches organize club entries at various regattas held on Vancouver Island. Members interested in racing further afield typically also self-organize to attend additional regattas on the mainland, across Canada and the US, and even Europe.

Returning summer 2026!

Offers a range of training and competition intensities to support varying athlete goals, in a fun and welcoming team environment.

Age: Grades 9-12
Experience: Learn to Row or greater experience required

Typically 4 times/week. Separate blocks for July & August

Fall High School League

Returning fall 2026!

Schools we expect to practice at Gorge Narrows: Brookes-Westshore, Esquimalt, Lambrick, Spectrum, Victoria High. If your high school doesn't have a team, contact Coach Samantha (coach.sam.davis@gorgerowing.ca) to discuss options.

Age: Grades 9 - 12
Experience: All levels, including those new to rowing.

Typically 3 times/week, plus regattas

Offers a range of training and competition intensities to support varying athlete goals, in a fun and welcoming team environment. On water all days that conditions permit!

Age: Grades 9-12
Experience: Prior experience required for Winter on-water rowing.

Usually multiple blocks, 3 times/week, November–March.
